The cozy St Claire's Wine Shop underwent significant reconstruction and modernization during the years 2022-2024. For a long time, the vineyard house lacked adequate facilities necessary for the operation of the winery and its staff and visitors. This was achieved by expanding and building new premises, i.e. by increasing the capacity of the seats.The Wine Shop is the only place where you can buy and taste local wine production, i.e. wines completely produced in the Prague Botanical Garden. In winter it is possible to warm up by a burning fireplace and hide from the sun in summer. The terraces of the wine shop are located in the middle of the vineyard and with a glass in hand you can enjoy an unusual view of the Prague panorama.St Claire's Vineyards is a frequently visited place, the attractiveness of which has increased even more after the construction of a new entrance from Trojská Street (bus stop No. 112 or 234 "Kovárna"). Countless cultural and private events take place at the vineyard itself. |
The grapes are of very high quality mainly thanks to the excellent terroir and the hard work of our staff who take care of the vineyard. Wines from St. Claire's Vineyard can be bought exclusively in our Wine Shop.
The most important local varieties are Riesling and Pinot noir. Due to limited production, the offer of wines changes throughout the year.
The Wine Shop does not offer hot meals, only simple snacks that go well with wine. You can always order the whole bottle or 1 dcl glass.
