Mission

BOTANICAL GARDENS are professional institutions focused on preserving scientifically documented and managed collections of plants. They differ from other gardens and parks particularly by meeting the goals set by the International Association of Botanical Gardens.

The main activities of botanical gardens:

• Collaboration with professional organizations involved in scientific and technical work with plant gene pool.
• Collaboration with other botanical gardens to protect nature and preserve biodiversity.
• Making botanical gardens accessible to the general public, mainly for ecology education and meeting people’s cultural and recreational needs.
• Ensuring the continuous development of the botanical garden.
