JIŘÍ PAČINEK'S JOURNEY

Jiří Pačinek is regarded as one of the leading contemporary glass artists in Czechia and worldwide.
Jiří Pačinek was born in 1972 in Litoměřice.

Jiří Pačinek began his formal glassmaking education in 1987. Despite having no family background in glassmaking, he deeply engaged in theoretical and practical training under the mentorship of some of the greatest masters of Czech glass.

After completing his apprenticeship in 1990, he joined the renowned glassworks in Chřibská, established in 1414 and recognized as the oldest operating glassworks in the world. Jiří was determined to devote his life to this beautiful craft.

His career then led him to AJETO LINDAVA, one of the most prestigious art glass factories of its time. In the 1990s, Jiří co-founded the factory with renowned glass artist Petr Novotný and the world-famous architect Bořek Šípek.

In 2008, Jiří fulfilled a long-held dream by establishing his glassworks in Lindava.

By 2015, he expanded his production and founded a second glassworks in Kunratice near Cvikov, where all production eventually moved.

In 2020, after years of preparation, Jiří unveiled his unique project, the Crystal Temple.

Since 2022, he has created his artistic works for Hollywood and other film productions.
