The Prague Botanical Garden held the 16th bonsai exhibition which presented the best that Czech bonsai growers can boast of.
This year was also the first time we held a competition.

The exhibition The Best Czech Bonsai was opened by the Ambassador of Japan, His Excellency SUZUKI Hideo, actresses Anna and Ester Geisler and representatives of the Czech-Japanese Society, the Czech Bonsai Association and the Prague Botanical Garden. There were almost 80 bonsai on display from growers from different parts of the Czech Republic. The exhibition was accompanied by a rich programme, which introduced both the Asian art of tree shaping and Japanese cultural traditions.

The bonsai exhibition 2021 was held with the support of partners Forestina, Czech-Japanese Society, Czech Bonsai Association and Japan Foundation Budapest. The exhibition was supported by the Embassy of Japan in the Czech Republic. The general partner of the Prague Botanical Garden is Hyundai Motor Czech.
