Based on the recommendations of the Government of the Czech Republic and current meteorological forecasts, the management of the Prague Botanical Garden decided to cancel the weekend Wine Harvest Celebration program that was supposed to take place on September 14 and 15. The Prague Botanical Garden is not planning a replacement date.
"I am very sorry that we were forced to abandon the popular Wine Harvest Celebration due to bad weather. The safety of visitors and their comfort comes first for us. Due to operational reasons, we cannot carry out the grape harvest on the alternative date, however, we look forward to seeing visitors with a glass of wine at our reopened St Claire's Wine Shop and during the autumn events and exhibitions," says Bohumil Černý, director of the Prague Botanical Garden.
The garden's exhibits, including the Fata Morgana Greenhouse, will be open to visitors during standard opening hours from 9 am to 7 pm, however we recommend checking our website for inclement weather precautions.
